Minority Mental Health Awareness

Mekong Community Center attended the 3rd Annual Minority Mental Wellness Resource Fair to assist the Hellyer Neighborhood Association and Santa Clara County of Behavioral Health in bringing mental health awareness to the community and helping to eliminate the stigma. The event was held at Hellyer Park where many health and other non-profit organizations came together to provide resources to the community. The event held a free screening area, giveaways, games and activities, and entertainment celebrating diversity, culture, and more. The wellness team enjoyed meeting individuals and families who stopped by Mekong’s booth to share their stories, concerns and needs with us.
